Meet Amy Snow, Environmental Affairs Specialist for Alabama Power Company. The data Amy and her team collect are critical to ensuring Alabama Power’s generating plants continue to operate within the state and federal environmental guidelines. The water and air samples collected ensure our companies are protecting the environment, while we are supplying our customers with clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy—no matter what.

Meet Racquel Hamilton and Christian Dunn, IT Service Management Analysts for Southern Company Services. “When you have so many people out there depending on you it’s really motivating to be here every day and doing the work that we’re doing.” Their team helped Southern Company employees transition to teleworking by providing laptops, accessories and IT support needed for workers to seamlessly serve our customers and communities. This team is always ready to assist.

Meet Doug Williams. Doug and his team are always up for a challenge. When cities are shutting down from severe weather, pandemics and more, they are ready to go to work. As an operations mechanic for Virginia Natural Gas, there is nothing that eliminates his commitment to serving our customers and communities.
