Recognizing the contribution HBCUs make on and off the field is a natural extension of the purpose Southern Company shares with these institutions - to be intentional in our efforts to create a more equitable future. As the nation's largest HBCU football exhibit, we are committed to telling the story of how the Black college football experience has shaped the African American community and American sports culture by focusing on three attributes inherent to HBCUs and Southern Company: community, opportunity and leadership.
